Using the Mapping Features

Buckspy Advanced with Mapping gives you the ability to plot many different things on your Interactive Aerial. The following is a list of locations along with their corresponding icon that is displayed on the map in the reports.

Icon Map Key

**TIP**  To view the Icon Key while viewing the Aerial map click on the bs_icon_greenarrow.JPG and the key will open.

 

Navigating Aerial and Topographical Map

In order to view more of the map you can use the scroll bars around the map or click on the smaller map in the lower right hand corner to jump to a different location. 

bs_mappingreports_zoom.JPG You can zoom in or out on the map by using the zoom pictured at the left.  Just drag the blue section of the zoom to change the size.

The above view can be seen by clicking on the Aerial Map link.

To view the Topographical Map click on the Topographical Map link.

To view the Aerial map and the Topographical map layered together then click on the Layered link.

Mapping Deer Observations

 

Deer observations can be mapped by clicking on the bs_icon_greenarrow.JPG button in the Summary of Total Deer Observed or by clicking More Observed Info.

The Latitude and Longitude coordinates can be entered in several ways.

1.      The Latitude and Longitude coordinates can be typed in the corresponding text box.

2.      By clicking on the map.  The first click will fill in the GPS Location where the deer was first seen, the second click will fill in the GPS Location where the deer was closest and the third click will fill in the GPS Location where the deer was last seen.

3.      Click on the Set Location First Seen then click the map to fill in the GPS Location where the deer was first seen.

4.      Click on the Seen Closest then click the map to fill in the GPS Location where the deer was closest.

5.      Click on the Last Seen then click the map to fill in the GPS Location where the deer was last seen.
